I'm now so very crazy about cars. everyday also dreaming about driving fast cars and smoking ppl. But my dad's car is just now up to standard to smoke anyone other dan kanchil who is "challengable" (if theres such a word). Enough about cars for the moment. else meimei will kill me.
I used to be crazy about fighing fish in the past. I kept so many fighting fish eh. so many jars of them. dan everytime bring meimei go so many places to see fighting fish. I find them really beautiful to admire eh. i started off with some long veil tails fish. After that thinking they're not nice enough. dan i spend more money on crowntails. Crowntails kinda exp. Cost probably around $20 over for a average looking 1. I've got a melano color crowntail (kinda like black) and i placed it in the tank in my room. Simply beautify my room instantly with it swimming around and flaring. hahaha. Had a pair of Opaque(white) double tail halfmoons as well. but they aren't really pretty as their tail not as big. At one moment i had like almost 10 over fighting fish. Changing water weekly for them is so tiring eh. imagine how many times i have to walk to and fro the toilet and my living room. each time i can only bring 2 tanks to the toilet, change water put them back and bring another 2 jar. haha . but i enjoy doing it. feeding them wasn't easy as well. Fed them with frozen blood worms. as it is frozen . i have to defroze it and use a fork to feed them. like feeding baby. scooping the worm onto the fork and dropping it into the tank.
The most interesting part of keeping fighting fish is when i tried to breed them. I went to clementi Blk 386( if i remember correctly) and got myself a red color female crowntail. cos melano crowntails are kinda hard to come by. so i decided to just try cross the colors. left the female with the male for a couple of days. The female finnage were badly torn as the male attack her. Poor gal. But after that, i saw them mating!!! damn.. haha . so excited. the male will wrap around the female and the female will drop the eggs. i dunno how the male ferterlize it. but anyway, after dropping the eggs. the male will pick them up with his mouth and place it inside the bubble nest dat it had made. after the spawning is over. I have to quickly remove the female and let the male look after the babies. each time an egg drop off the bubble nest on the floor. the male will carefully put them back into the nest. haha.. amazing isn't it. haha.. the female bore me like almost 200 to 300 babies. but in the end. none survive =( i wasn't able to get the correct food for them. haiz. sad. if i've got live daphnia or something else. those babies would probably had make it. and i'll have lotsa fighting fish around my house.. lolz. A very good experience for me though. btw, i do have a fighting fish at home now. crowntail. but doesn't look as nice liao. cos never really look after it. Fighting fish with big fins had to be well taken care of. if not fins will rot. =)
